Biography
Lindsey Morrison is a recent (2011) FSU Anthropology graduate. She has volunteered with the Florida Bureau of Research and has worked in the Florida Master Site File (the permanent record of all recorded prehistoric and historic sites in Florida). She has experience in working with GIS maps, historic inventories and has worked with CRM managers to determine the historic significance of sites. She has participated in the DeSoto (PAST + FSU) Entrada excavations and in the analysis of materials recovered from those excavations. She has also participated in archaeological surveys in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways project as a Cultural Resource Diversity Intern with the National Park Service. She has also assisted in the analysis of faunal material from the prehistoric Grant Mound collection while at FSU. Her primary interest is in resource management.
