Biography
Lara Musser is an alumna of the Florida State University, graduating in 2011 with a double major in Anthropology and English Literature. During her tenure as an anthropology student, Lara enjoyed courses in archaeology, the great apes, forensic anthropology, and found an especial interest in human osteology. She completed a DIS on the skeletal attribution of race from specimens in the FSU Windover collection under the supervision of Dr. Lynne Schepartz, and during the summer of 2009 was an intern at the Museu Nacional du Arqueologia in Lisbon, Portugal where she assisted in cataloguing an osteologial collection from some of PortugalĀfs many megalithic dolmans. Lara has studied in Ireland, Italy, and was offered a Fulbright Teaching Assistantship to South Korea. She is currently working as an advisor at the FSU College of Business, and does Dr. Doran a solid by conducting skeletal inventory on her lunch breaks while she is applying for graduate school.
