Biography
I enrolled in the graduate program in the Department of Anthropology at Florida State in 2008 after working as an archaeologist in Texas for several years. While at Florida State, I studied underwater archaeology, before obtaining a masterÂfs degree with a thesis concentrating on the use, distribution and study of fish weirs. I have interests in both terrestrial and underwater archaeology, both prehistoric and historic.
I am currently employed with an environmental firm based out of Austin, Texas, which primarily conducts archaeological survey and data collection excavation in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico. In the course of my archaeological career, I have conducted extensive research throughout Texas, and Oklahoma in both historical and pre-historical contexts. I have been involved in archaeological surveys, background and archival research, geophysical surveys, and data collection and excavation.
